Michael Arbeeny Founder and President of 107 Productions
Michael began his musical career at the age of 16, performing six nights a week in the area's top nightclubs. He was soon spotted by multi-platinum artists White Lion, and after a successful stint as their drummer, Michael went on to be the co-founder, drummer and manager of Geffen recording artists Tkyetto.
Throughout the 1990's, Tyketto sold hundreds of thousands of records worldwide, released four studio albums, toured internationally, had two area # 1 hits on American AOR radio, and had a five week run at MTV's # 1 request spot with their hit single "Forever Young"
As the 90's and Tyketto came to an end, Michael decided to branch out his management company, and 107 Productions was born. Celebrating thirteen years in the business, the company's roster has expanded to include over thirty-five artists and many exclusive 107 Productions nightclubs in NY and NJ.
In addition to co-producing 2000+ shows a year for 107 Productions, Michael still enjoys getting behind the drums for some European performances a few times a year, and he produced and managed Tyketto’s successful six country reunion tour in 2004.
Scott Rush Partner and CEO
Scott Rush has been involved in the music industry his whole life, first as a musician and now as an agent and a producer. His love for music began at the age of six when he began playing piano. A child prodigy, he excelled on the keys and delved into composition. His first love blossomed in his early teens when he performed for the prestigious New Jersey Opera Company. Those early days on the stage shaped Rush. It deepened his appreciation for creating melodic sound, while demonstrating the transformative power music has on an audience. This love for performance has never left him as he continues to perform today on a part-time basis.
Rush has toured the all over the world with renowned artists. He has performed and shared the stage with Milo Z, Robert Randolph, Al Green, Hiram Bullock, Patty Smith, The Meters, G-Love, The Neville Brothers and Gavin DeGraw. He performed on nationally recognized shows including, NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly, the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, The Metro Channel, My9 WWOR-TV, and the NJN Network. Rush has also continued composing music. He co-produced and wrote songs that were released and published by several musicians.
2001 was a watershed year for Rush, when he took his love for music and focused on finding new talent. Rush teamed up with Grammy Award winning producer John Seymour to form the agency Media 51. As a licensed agent, he began fostering talent and booking shows all over the east coast and Europe. As a way to handle all aspects of the industry, Rush’s partner John opened up the recording studio Treefort.
In 2004, Media 51 was growing rapidly. Rush made the personal decision to stop touring as a musician in order to focus his considerable talents on the agency. In 2005, Media 51 gained the notice of 107 Productions. After a fruitful discussion the two agencies agreed to book six acts together. This went so well that in 2006 Media 51 and 107 Productions merged agencies and became one. Since then 107 Productions has become one of the largest agencies on the east coast booking well over 2000 shows a year including the recession year of 2009.
With an insider’s knowledge of the industry, first as a musician and now as a producer, Rush is able to provide artists with the best venues for their talent.
